An outside activity is always planned for the attendees. This year activities were a Cruise into the Atlantic and a dinner / dance at the Elks. A last minute cancellation by the Cruise line was taken in stride. The dinner / dance was well attended and so successful, it will probably become part of future Extravaganzas.

What a night everyone had - Mrs B instigated a "surprise Birthday"
for Nick. It was carried out by Debbie (of the Elks), Larry (Skate Reflections) and everyone there. Debbie asked Nick to play "Happy Birthday" for a gentleman (it is unclear whether it was actually his birthday). While Nick was looking away from him, Larry entered with a cake (made and decorated by his lovely wife) and surprised Nick . . .
